1. Who can use Nudge
Parents and guardians: You must be 18 or over to create a parent account and purchase a subscription. By signing up you confirm you are 18 or over.
Children: Children use Nudge through an account created and managed by their parent or guardian. Children do not create their own accounts. Parents are responsible for their child's use of Nudge.
2. The service
Nudge provides AI-powered maths revision and homework support for primary school children aged 7–11. The service is for personal, non-commercial, educational use only.
We aim to make Nudge as accurate and helpful as possible but we do not guarantee specific educational outcomes or exam results. Nudge is a revision and learning aid — it is not a replacement for formal education.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Free tier: You may access Nudge with limited functionality for free. The free tier includes 3 lifetime revision sessions, access to one topic (Times Tables), and no parent dashboard. No payment card is required.
Paid plans: We offer monthly and annual subscription plans for 1 child, 2 children, or a family (3+ children). Current prices are displayed on our pricing page.
Free trial: All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. Your payment card will be charged on day 8 unless you cancel before then.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period. You will receive a reminder email 7 days before annual renewal.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
Refunds: If you cancel within your 7-day free trial period you will not be charged. After the trial period ends, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
Consumer Rights Act 2015: If you are a UK consumer purchasing a digital service, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase (the "cooling-off period"). By starting your 7-day free trial and accessing the service, you acknowledge that the service has begun and agree that any refund after the trial period has ended will be calculated based on the service already delivered.
Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase by email. If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, you accept the new price.
4. Child accounts
As a parent you are responsible for:
- Creating your child's account with accurate information
- Keeping your child's PIN secure
- Supervising your child's use of Nudge where appropriate
- Ensuring your child uses Nudge in accordance with these Terms
You may delete your child's account at any time from the parent dashboard.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Nudge to:
- Provide false information about your child's age or year group
- Attempt to access another user's account
- Reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the service
- Use the service for any commercial purpose
- Attempt to extract or scrape data from the service
- Circumvent any content or access restrictions
Children must not:
- Share personal information (home address, phone number, school name) in the homework chat
- Use the chat for anything other than maths homework help
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
6. Intellectual property
All content within Nudge — including the AI tutoring system, curriculum content, illustrations, animations, and branding — is owned by F&F Ventures Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of it without our written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of Nudge
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period
- We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of Nudge after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
